I have the honour to inform you that the papers

enclosed with your letter No. 11861/1908 of the 22nd.

of May were forwarded in accordance with your instructionul

to Messrs. Coode Son and Matthews and I now transmit a

copy of the report which they have furnished in reply.

I also enclose a supplementary report which they have

furnished, as arranged when the matter was discussed at

this office on the 7th. of October between a member of

your staff, the Consulting Engineers, Mr. Boulton and :

ourselves.
